General Motors announced the price of the new Camaro today, which will be on sale next sometime next spring.
The base Camaro LS will cost $26,995, which includes a 300-hp, 3.6-litre direct-injection V6 and 6-speed manual.
The Camaro 1LT will cost $27,995 and adds fog lamps, upgraded 18-inch wheels and a longer list of available options. The 2LT gets Bluetooth connectivity, a 245-watt 9-speaker stereo with USB port, heated leather seating and 19-inch wheels, and will cost $31,595.
$36,995 will get you into the 1SS which boasts a 422-hp, 6.2-litre V8, Brembo brakes, 20-inch wheels and the 1LT's equipment list. Finally, the 2SS goes for $40,995 and gets the 2LT's features.
A Rally Sport package will be available on all models except the LS and will include exclusive 20-inch wheels, xenon headlights and unique taillights. A 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters is also optional on all models.
