Our only other favorite police car besides the Dodge Charger is the Carbon E7. Revealed as a prototype last year Carbon Motors has announced that it is successfully completing testing and the E7 which should be available for press testing in 18 months. Pricing will be announced in the fourth quarter of 2009 with production to begin in 2012.

The Carbon E7 is powered by a 3.0L turbo-diesel that makes a total of 300-hp with a peak torque of 420 lb-ft. The engine is mated to a 6-speed automatic that helps with the 0 to 60 mph time of 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 155 mph.

The best part is that cops can now be fuel-efficient while being powerful since the Carbon E7 returns an estimated combined fuel-economy between 28 to 30 mpg.
