Zagato Perana Z-One details and images released


Zagato has dropped all the images and details of its its new Perana Z-one before the car’s Geneva debut. The Perana Z-one is the product of a collaboration between Zagato and a South African Vehicle Manufacturer called the Perana Performance Group.

Zagato has dropped all the images and details of its its new Perana Z-one before the car’s Geneva debut. The Perana Z-one is the product of a collaboration between Zagato and a South African Vehicle Manufacturer called the Perana Performance Group.


Power will come from a 6.2L V8 that transfers 440-hp to the rear-wheels with a maximum torque of 397 lb-ft. Mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, the Zagato Perana Z-one goes from 0 to 62 mph in the low 4-second range.


Zagato says that the Z-one is not just a dream car. The car is expected to go into production and will be available for sale to European buyers by July 2009. Sales will be limited to 999 units to commemorate the 90 years of Zagato design. Pricing is expected to come in at 50,000 Euros ($62,908 USD).
